Footprints in the Sand -- Poem

Footprints in the Sand - Poem

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.

Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.

Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,

other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed

that during the low periods of my life,

when I was suffering from

anguish, sorrow or defeat,

I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,

“You promised me Lord,

that if I followed you,

you would walk with me always.

But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life

there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.

Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”

The Lord replied,

“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand,

is when I carried you.”

On the Ocean

: : We all had a wonderful time at the ocean : :

: : On the porch of the condo : :

: : A view of the ocean from the condo : :

: : I love my brothers and Dad : :

When ever Noela is in between two people holding their hands she always says, "Swing me!"

: : My wonderful family : :

There is a board walk with a bunch of stores on it, one of the spots though, has been fenced off for sand sculptures of Jesus.  It is called, "Jesus on the Boardwalk."

Haley and Dad walked the whole board walk, which is quite long, while the rest of us went swimming.

: : I love rainbows : :

: : Lance on the ocean : :

: : The cactus were beautiful : :

We had a lot of fun flying kites!  All you had to do was let go of it and away it would go!  It was very fun for us because where we live kites never stay up!

: : We had a lot of fun digging up sand crabs : :

At the time this was fun, but after wards I am sure you can imagine what I looked like!

On our way home, after our last morning walk on the beach, before we had to go, Mom and Haley were walking ahead and saw someone pull in this Sand Shark.

: : Grant is holding a crab : :

: : A skipping lesson on the beach : :

: : A beautiful sunrise : :

: : Come back soon : :

A Wonderful Day at the Park

Thank You!!

We had a great time at Uncle Kyle and Aunt Susan's house!  We stayed there for a few days before the wedding.  They kept us entertained and fed, while doing last minuet planning for the wedding, and working!

Uncle Kyle took us to a park by their house for an outdoor adventure!

We always love to climb on rocks and play in water!

: : Our wonderful dad : :

There were a lot of fun little water falls, it was a very pretty park!

Mom and Haley went all the way back to the van to get the camra for us.  Thank you!

Vince went all the way in the water!

: : Lance liked us to take his picture so we have a lot of him in the water : :

: : I spy Grant : :
: : God is great : :
Noela is a wonderful little friend!
Psalm 23

"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."

At the Bidwick's

We all love watermelon!

: : The boys enjoying their wonderful watermelon : :

Noela made friends with Lindsey and Ashley quite easily!
(Noela is sitting next to me saying, "That's so cute!")

: : Our wonderful Dads : :

: : Noela has always loved watermelon too : :

Wee!  We all had a wonderful time at the park!

: : Grant and I both love bouldering walls : :

: : Mrs. Bidwick and Noela : :

: : Lance and Noela both like slides : :

: : Dad helped Noela talk through the tube : :

: : Lance played hide and seek with Mom : :

Noela liked the fake animals, it is kind of funny because a few weeks before Dad took her to a park and she was scared of the statues!  Though this time she did ask if the Aligator would bite her!

Lance is growing up he doesn't look so much like a baby anymore!

: : My wonderful Dad and Brothers : :

: : See you later : :
